How to find the kiosk

  1. Find Upper Buena Vista

The village sits at the corner of NE 2nd Ave and NE 50th Terrace in Miami’s Buena Vista neighborhood, a few blocks north of the Design District, close enough to walk. The village address is 5040 NE 2nd Ave, and the kiosk’s is 5030. Put either one in your maps app.

  2. Valet or park

Valet is $15, at the valet stand on NE 50th Terrace. Street parking is the other choice. It is very limited and metered by Pay by Phone, and the village itself recommends Uber or Lyft. There is no self-park lot.

  3. Walk in under the trees

Inside, the paths run between micro boutiques and open-air cafes under a tree canopy. Look for the wooden louvered kiosk with the KAVACITO sign, beside the Palapa and next to El Turco Turkish Food and Panini and Fromage.

  4. Order at the window

There is no table service. Order at the window, pick your milk, and take any chair under the canopy. The 4 oz shell is the place to start with kava.
